I know I haven’t been blogging lately. Got caught up on things..but that doesn’t mean that I haven’t been eating!
First up, I wanna share 2 of my current fave chili sauces. Well..the first one is a African chili oil. Not to worry, this tiny bottle will last you forever as you only need a drop of it to spice things up. My friend introduced it to me since the morning she put it in baked beans and since then I couldn’t get enough of it.
Most recently, I fell in love with a Vietnamese chili sauce: extremely spicy so sometimes I’ve to mix a drop of it with water or yogurt.. I just love the lemongrass smell of it. That’s the thing about Vietnamese food which normally consists of lemongrass, chilli, coriander, ginger and lime. All things which I love. Coming to Calgary has given me exposure to more Vietnamese and Korean food… I just can’t wait to try out some of their restaurants!
